Jim McKay Maryland Million Pre-Entry Deadline Oct. 12

LAUREL, MD – Pre-entries close Wednesday, Oct. 12 for the 31st annual Jim McKay Maryland Million Day program to be held Saturday, Oct. 22 at Laurel Park.

The $150,000 Classic for 3-year-olds and up at 1 1/8 miles on the main track, won last year by Admirals War Chest, is the richest of 11 races restricted to horses by stallions who were conceived in Maryland and fully nominated/certified to the Maryland Million program.

All Maryland Million eligible and Maryland-bred (not Maryland-sired) horses must pre-enter and pay the pre-entry fee by the Oct. 12 deadline. Any horse that is pre-entered and does not get the opportunity to enter a race will have the pre-entry fee refunded.
